The Chief Election Commissioner (CEC) A. M. M. Nasir Uddin has stated that once the schedule for the upcoming 13th National Parliamentary Election is announced, the country’s security situation will become stronger and more manageable. He noted that while law and order had been somewhat challenging since 5 August, it is now considerably stable.
On Wednesday (26 November), during a visit to the BGB headquarters to inspect election training and drills, the CEC said that special security arrangements will be implemented in identified high-risk areas. Red, yellow, and green zones will be designated to ensure a safe and orderly election environment.
He further mentioned that the police, Ansar, BGB, and other forces are undergoing regular training to prepare for a secure and fair election. The CEC assured that the commission is committed to conducting the election impartially and delivering a peaceful and well-organized election to the people of the country.
