BNP Standing Committee member Salahuddin Ahmed has confirmed that acting chairman Tarique Rahman will be returning to the country soon. He made the announcement after a Standing Committee meeting on Monday (1 December) night.
Salahuddin Ahmed added that, like previous gatherings, the meeting was routine. However, special attention was given to the health condition of Begum Khaleda Zia. He also noted that party Standing Committee member Dr. AZM Zahid will provide detailed updates on her health.
