The youth will be the main strength behind the country’s future leadership and progress, said Jamaat-e-Islami Ameer Dr. Shafiqur Rahman.

Speaking as the chief guest at a reception program organized by Islami Chhatra Shibir for the elected representatives of Dhaka University Central Students’ Union (DUCSU) at the Bangladesh-China Friendship Conference Center on Friday (November 7), he stated, “The young generation who broke the chains of tyranny and injustice to liberate the nation will be the ones to build a just, prosperous, and exemplary Bangladesh of tomorrow.”

The Jamaat Ameer further said, “Those who stood firm against oppression and fought for justice are the true hope of the nation. The ideals, honesty, and sacrifices of the youth are the real forces of change.”

At the event, DUCSU VP Sadiq Kayem remarked that in the new generation’s Bangladesh, there will be no room for the dual trends of “spirit of the Liberation War” and “corrupt politics.” He warned that those who oppose reform initiatives will face consequences harsher than those once faced by fascists.
